Hearts Desire has been singing and carrying the word of God for many years. Starting in 2004 with Go Fourth Ministries, they shared the Good News with others. Then in 2005 joining with Howard and Lynett Mclaurin, the beginning of "Hearts Desire" they continued to see God Work in many different ways. Now as we begin a new phase, we are excited to see where God is taking us. Roy and Terri Along With Howard, Tena, and Penny are all looking forward to seeing Great things happen as we "PRESS ON".
Roy Boney: Stringer, Ms
Roy manages the group and sings Bass.
Involved in gospel music all his life, and now through the group and The Mississippi Music Association "I feel the Lord has called me to help promote Southern Gospel Music to the level it once was in our great State" with many years of experience working as a Music Minister and Singing in many different venues, "I don't think it is an impossible task", and with God on our side, how could we not accomplish this task.
Howard Mclaurin: Laurel, Ms
Howard sings Tenor and any other part that is needed and also runs the sound for the group, plus whatever else that needs to be done. Being with the group since the start, he is very dedicated to God, Family and Hearts Desire. Howard has sung Gospel Music for many years and if you will talk to him for just a few minutes you'll know that his heart is with God and ministering to others.
Terri Boney: Stringer, Ms
Terri is one of the original members of the group and is business manager for the Group. After struggling with an Illness for a while, Terri will be resting for a time, but still will be touring with the Group as her health permits.
Penny Walters: Laurel, Ms
Penny can sing any part and will be carrying the High parts with Hearts Desire.
She has been singing for many years, and has sung with different groups from the area. Penny has been encouraged by family and friends to pursue Gods call for her to sing again. Hearts Desire welcomes her into our group. We feel she will be an asset to the group as she continues to serve God.
Mary Ellen Moore: Meridian, Ms
Known as Tena by all her friends and family, Tena has been singing for many years. Starting at a young age, music has been a very imporant part of her life, singing with her family and verious other groups, She will be singing Alto with HD.
